My first post of 2008 and my first post in quite a while. In the beginning of October, I rounded up my knitting plans and set to work. First up was a shawl for my mother. Something a little warm, not too heavy and just enough to challenge me. Lace and I don't usually see eye-to-eye. I picked the "Follow the Leader" shawl by Sivia Harding.

Yarn: Jaeger Baby Merino 4-ply in Cuddles, 5 skeins
Needle size: 7
For two dear friends, I made a scarf and hat. The scarf is in the yummy Malabrigo in Mistaken Rib, and the hat is knit with Cascade 220 Superwash in a simple rolled brim pattern. These gifts were very welcomed and have been worn quite often.

These clogs weren't Christmas gifts but they were knit during the same time period. The pink and blacks are for Fab M, and the multi-brown clogs belong to me.

I also knit other items but, alas, not pictures yet. Now that Christmas is over, it's all about ME and my socks.
